Katie school, Gilbert Magnet School, has two Matinees every school year, one in the spring and one in the Winter. For this year's Matinee the 1st graders performed "Let's Make Lemonade" a story about all the fairy tale/mother goose characters. 4 students from each class were chosen to have speaking parts. Katie was chosen to play The Little Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe. She did a fantastic job. She really had the audience chuckling. She is quite a performer and loves being on stage.
