Leap of Faith

What's the biggest leap of faith you've ever had to take?

Hmmm.. I would have to say moving to Vegas without having a job and being sure that I would get one. I had no car, (I had just been hit by a drunk driver and my car was totaled), no money saved and no job and no idea if the apartment we chose was a good idea. As we all know, everything worked out just fine. I got a job, bought a car and our apartment was in a safe location. Who knew that I would still be here 9 years later? This leap of faith worked out, I met my amazing husband and have made wonderful friends.

If you won a million dollars and had to spend ALL of it — every last penny, what would you spend it on?

I would spend it on a new house in Spokane, furniture to go in it, and the cost of the move to get there. The house would have to include a casita, an indoor (with removable roof) pool & hot tub. I'm sure I could blow through it pretty quickly.

If that didn't take all of the money, I would get porcelain veneers and a new wardrobe.

I would also take each of my siblings on a shopping spree. Since I have to spend it, I would also buy stock for my kids so that they would have enough to sell and then pay for college. :)

Question of the Day

If you could teleport to any place in the world right this second, where would you go?

That's pretty easy, I would go to visit Erin. I'm sure we would stay up way too late chatting the night away. Then, I would teleport home in time to take the kids to school.

This is a funny question because I've wished so many times that I had teleportation powers! How cool would that be? Living so far away from family wouldn't be so bad if I could see them instantly when ever I felt like it.....

Being Sick

Being a sick mommy is no fun. My poor kiddos have been cooped up in the house today and we've watching way too much TV. I hope this cold goes away fast so we can go back to playing. The one good thing is that it is fun to watch the imaginative play that happens here. Today they were slaying dragons and teddy bears. It was too cute.

Missin' a Tooth

Katie lost her first tooth! Well, really it's her second, but the first one that didn't involve the dentist! She was very excited to leave her tooth for Twinkle the Tooth Fairy. She woke up this morning and found two dollars under her pillow!

Everyone says kids grow up too fast. It's true, it seems like it was just last week that her first teeth were coming in and now they're on their way out.
