What one object/thing would you take if your house were on fire?
Assuming that my kids don't' count, I'd grab our backup hard drive to save all of our pictures. Everything else is replaceable, but I can't recreate the pictures. Since the computer is in the same room as the book my mom gave me with her memories, I'd grab that too. That's one of my most meaningful possessions, because it definitely can't be replaced.
