I had a fun time working in the 3s class today. They are one busy bunch, did I mention how LOUD they are? Here's a cute video from today.
Here is a list of some of the things the kids got to do today:
* make apple pies & then eat them
* play with floam
* garden
* paint
* play outside
* dress up
* read books
* experiment with apples
* dance
* move

I LOVE the Co-op!

"Make new friends, but keep the old....

...one is silver and the other's gold."

Katie is now a Daisy Girl Scout. Following in my mom's footsteps, I am the co-leader of her troop. We'll meet twice a month at our house. Wednesday was the first time all the girls got together. I had time to snap a quick picture of their friendship circle before the batteries on my camera died. You can only see her hands, great first picture, huh? I'm so excited for her to start her Girl Scout Adventure. I have many wonderful memories of doing things with Girl Scouts, especially selling cookies and going to camp!

It's orchard time

Today we went with the Co-op to the apple orchard and garden. The kids picked out a few pumpkins, a zucchini, some eggplants, a pepper and a few apples. They had a great time as usual. Now we need to bake some zucchini bread, make some applesauce, and figure out what to do with the eggplants!

Alex was really excited to get his pumpkin home and wash it. Check out the last pictures!

All of a sudden I heard the water start running in the bathroom, sure enough there was Alex giving himself and his new pumpkin a bath! He wanted to wash the pumpkin and that was the easiest way. Of course I grabbed the camera and then let them enjoy their bath together!

Question of the day!

What is your all time favorite board game?

Rummy Cub. I don't know if it's my favorite because of all the memories I have playing with my family or because I like the challenge of winning and the logical thinking. I am a HUGE fan of games. Before kids we used to have couples game night, I really should find a group of people to do that with again. My other favorite games, in no particular order are:
* Catch Phrase, original NOT electronic
* Balderdash
* Clue
* Cribbage
* Rummy 5000
* Dominoes

The kids and I like playing Sequence, Guess Who,Sorry, and of course, Memory.

Now I really want to play some games!!

Question of the Day: Lifestyles of the Rich OR Famous

Would you rather be rich or famous? Why?

I would much rather be rich. Being rich and anonymous is the way to go because you would be able to spend your money however you want without having a bunch of people judging you in public. I can not imagine being harassed by paparazzi and people assuming things about you. As much as I enjoy reading People Magazine and Star Magazine, I'd much rather be on this end of the lens.

Question of the day!

If you could have one superpower what would it be?

I've always wanted to fly, but if I could fly I would have to be super strong too, because what use would it be to fly if I couldn't carry someone else or wisp someone out of harm's way!? I've thought about his WAY too many times.

Challenge

OK, I'm going to post a question of the day each day for the next week. How many of you readers are willing to answer it? You can post it on your own blog or leave your answer as a comment on my post.
